We offer 5 ***** luxury boarding for cats, and we also cater for small animals ie. rabbits, hamsters etc. Our cat accommodation consists of 9'x4'x6' fully heated chalets, fitted with cushion flooring. These chalets are painted white throughout, each with their own little door taking them to a 6'x4'x6' outside play area, so all in all each cat or family of cats have a total area of 15'x4' to play around in. Each chalet is furnished with their own little beds with sheepskin bedding (or you can bring you own,) litter trays, separate feeding area, scratch posts and toys. Each unit has music playing throughout the day, trying to keep the familiar sounds of home life while your feline family are on their holidays with us here at Aristocats. Their outside play area looks out on to the quiet secluded gardens, one side set in a Japanese type garden, with Koi pond, whilst the other side houses our new Cat village, where we have 4 individual cat cottages for those wishing to house the pets in more luxurious apartments. Three of these cottages can house up to 4-5 cats comfortably, whilst the largest, Fizzy's Lodge, can take our larger families of up to 8-9 cats (and yes, there a few of us around!) All individual diets are catered for (we also are stockists for Royal Canin dog & cat food,) and we offer specialist nursing care for those who need it. We are in fact planning this year to have our own specialist nursing care unit, as we do have to cater for, sometimes, the very elderly, or very poorly cats, whose owners need to have that holiday break as well. We have a vet on call 24hrs: the Vermuyden Vets, of Goole, who have been our vets since we opened seven years ago. We find them to have that kind caring attitude we offer ourselves. We are always on hand to help with any queries you may have.
We also run the Katz Kozee charity, raising funds to help cats less fortunate than our own, and run several events through-out the year for that purpose. If anyone is interested in helping, we are always looking for donations of food, blankets, or any brik a brak to sell at car boots.
Aristocats celebrate their 7th. birthday this year in August, and as always, we hold a charity fun day here at the cattery, and joining us as always on that day will be Glenda McKay (ex-Emmerdale) and Tony Pitts (ex-Emmerdale, and recently in The Deep, with Nick Berry,) who have joined us now for the last 3 years. We have a great day out with wine, nibbles and birthday cake. Admission fee is always a tin of cat food (the charities benefit from this.) However, this event is usually well advertised beforehand.
